DINING OUT AT PANDORA IS LITERALLY EATING OUTSIDE
Fresh air, Al Fresco dining, is guaranteed at Pandora. Surrounded by trees and flowering plants, the setting is romantic and intimate. A dozen tables sprawl out into private garden nooks, a poolside cabana & pool view balcony. Dining out in the gardens, cabana and terrace are tree shaded by day and open to the stars after sunset. Tables on the lobby patio or in the bar are well protected from rain, but draw in the fresh outdoor air through tall bistro windows framed without glass.
Both the hotel and restaurant occupy only a small area on the enclosed acreage of Villa San Ignacio. We recently expanded Pandora dining out into gardens. Early in 2021, dinner for parties of 2 to 6 people can request a rustic picnic table in the wooded garden. This service requires a reservation. During the reservations process, we welcome personalized, pre-ordered menus or any special requests.
Guests have already enjoyed our poolside cabana and pool view balcony. Set up for privacy and night time romance, both areas have easy access to the restaurant and hotel common areas. Both the cabana and balcony fit the Al Fresco style with the extra creature comforts that come with solid ground and electricity.
Hotel guests are welcome to request room service, or find their own preferred dining spot. The hotel is known for its many indoor and outdoor nooks and crannies. For this service, a preordered reservation will be necessary. Just let us know what your menu selections are, when you want the service and where we can find you.
SAFETY & CLEANLINESS
Dining out or inside, Pandora’s tables and chairs will be placed at least 2 meters apart. Private dining areas require a reservation. Dining out in the gardens, the cabana or our 2nd floor pool view balcony are far beyond the required social distance of 6 feet, yet are perfectly “socially intimate”. Some private areas are wheelchair accessible. All bar seating is wheelchair accessible. We will introduce preorders for dining at Pandora and also for meals to go.
Our staff will wear masks until further notice. We feel that until there is a vaccine for COVID19, we will keep our nose and mouths covered. Our guests’ safety and comfort are more important now than ever. We will continue to follow all ministry of health protocols and will also share the steps we are taking to keep everyone safe.
We will monitor and regularly clean the restaurant bathrooms more frequently throughout hours of operation. All toilet seats have covers. We will post a sign above the toilet requesting that users lower the lid before flushing. With this in mind we will try our best to stagger bathroom use and keep the extractor running.
Villa San Ignacio and Pandora offer free, secure parking.
